A nicely observed still-life. The lighting and repeated star shapes add special interest. You do have a good eye.
Since you opened the door to critique in your bio, I will try to offer some ideas that you might be able to use. 1.) To my taste, the composition is good in the area of the bowl but might benefit from some more severe cropping. 2.) Since your equipment is very similar to what I am currently using, I think you will find that the images that come from the camera's CMOS have wonderful resolution but come out a bit soft. Except for portraits, I virtually always sharpen my shots.
So--I did some sharpening and cropping of your image. I hope you don't mind . . . :-) Regards, --george
