This is a great shot. i like how you've chosen to keep the picture a little blurry. Taking a moment to understand and appreciate the scene is well worth it.
thanks for sharing,

An awesome capture. I like how you have managed to make the boy in the water remain tied in to the subject as he looks back. An excellent portayal indeed. This reminds me of summer jumping-days.
good stuff, matt

You gotta stop using crap cameras man. So, this sky is kinda nice, but the rest of the image is pretty lackluster: nothing makes this stand out. I tried to brighten up the water a bit, wha do you think?
keep on shooting,
matt

A brilliant landscape. My only beef is with the dog. He is in that awkward light where he is not quite a silhouette - it is a little distracting.
Nevertheless, a good shot.

The colors are nice, but this shot could have been taken without looking. I think a more carefully composed foreground would make this shot infinitely better.

Good choice in aperture. Also the dark tones of his hair and jacket help him stand out as boldy as he does.
good stuff,

Im not a big fan of the grain, but the tones are fantastic. It really displays a rahter bleak mood. Good job.

Soft and surreal. The image may be a little busy, but the tones and light are still very nice.

I would argue for the foreground plants. Without them the image would still have great texture and tones, but the plants establish a depth to the image. Good decision, great end product.

Great job Karen. Besides being very techniquely well done, the idea being proposed really makes the image outstanding.

hmmm, well this is a bit of a trip. I think if the kids were still and clear then it might work, but i dont know how that could be done. Nevertheless, the image does grab your attention. Good job,

Gorgeous Tones. The offset horizon doesnt really bother me, it kinda works with the submergent dock to enhance the feeling of sinking.
