Yes Matt it would have been nice to get more of the falls in the shot because your POV is wonderful. You have great saturation of color, would have like to see it with a slower speed to get motion. I love shooting waterfalls and am still seeking that one perfect shot and that’s the beauty of photography the search, the getting there.

hi Matt,
I like your perspective on this shot. the composition works well. The one thing that strikes me is that the spectrum of light from darkest to lightest is beyond the capacity of your digital film. Hence the blown out skies or the too dark foregrounds. This can be corrected by getting a graduated 2 stop neutral density filter for the front of your lens. You will be amazed at the improvement in your images contrast wise. I am saying this to you because this is a big problem in most areas of B.C. where the contrast is so consistently overwhelming. I use 4 x 6inch Lee filters...but the less expensive kind are made by Cokin.
