thanks for the excellent comment blake, i didn't expect anyone to pick up on the title reference. the trapeze swinger is one of my favorite songs. i hear him describing a desire to remain; for a sort of permanence or transcendence- even if that is as a memory.
I think thats what we do with photography. its a very deliberate act of acknowledging the enduring impact of what was a brief moment,

Interesting composition; I love the contrast between the straight lines on of the beach which run perpendicular to those of the waves, which are anything but linear. Your title stirred a mental connection to a song, The Trapeze Swinger, by Iron and Wine. The photo is aptly titled, as no two waves will never be the same and neither will what is left in their wake.

Simply, this is a beautiful shot. The colors are amazing and the depth really makes your title stand out. your composition is so very well done to just see a little bit of the face of the flower. This is defiantly a favorite. Very well done.
