it`s simple and steady - that`s true. IMHO lacks some "distracting element" or more of a 2/3 composition, dunno. it seems to be too calm to catch much attraction. when shooting such an abstract I usually try to "deconstruct" the space - to make people confused, to hide the most obvious interpretation of the subject, to hide it`s origin and to show it as sth. completely different. maybe that helps - it`s only my opinion, cheers.

as for trans am - anything will do. maybe for beginning avoid "future world", because it`s a bit extravagant in style - electronic old school .
and shellac is a pure power of clean mathematical guitar-rock and also all the albums are great, i cannot name any specific albums right now, I will do research and tell you later...
