Yes, Giorgio. You can mount M42 lenses to Canon body through the adapter. Of course AF and aperture control is lost. Regards and thanks for visiting.

Monika. Thanks for Your comment but I like my version much more than Yours. First of all You lost "play" of colours - violet (that You cut) against green - that plays very important role in the image. Croping bacome too tight and You lost composition moving main part of the shot to it's center. Picture is not "dynamic" any more.
