Art is not necessarily beautiful, and it doesn?t have to be. If you search for pictures of old masters you can see that. Check Rembrandt, Goya, Christian iconography, etc. Everlasting image of Jesus Christ suffering on the Cross is surely one of them. Our reality is not always beautiful so need not be the art we produce. Have you seen the latest Mel Gibson?s movie `Passion of the Christ`?! You can try to deny reality and view everything through your pink glasses, but then you are the one who needs a shrink.
P.S. Besides said, most of the pictures of beautiful flowers, nudes, and landscapes here and on the photo.net are just plain boring. Something I?ve seen trillions of times already.

If you think this image is something wonderful to be put on this site, you are just as sick as the photographer who put it here. We come to this site to see beautiful, artistic images, and this is definately not that. You are sick and perverted for enjoying this kind of garbage. I came to this site to get help with my photography. How is this going to help anyone in any way other than by helping them lose their lunch? You and this photographer need serious psychiatric help. You disgust me. And trust me when I say I'm not alone with these feelings. I can wish nothing but bad luck for you and any pictures you may take. Rot in hell with the one who submitted this shot.

Very powerful image. It should be seen, as a part of our everyday reality. This image should have a warning before you open it though, so `sensitive` and under-age people don?t open it.
I don?t want to close my eyes or sit in the dark. We need more cruel images of our cruel reality.
Congratulations Pepito!

To use somebody's extreme misfortune like this to get back at this site administrator is particularly reprehensible. It is unfortunate that there is no real possibility for the inhuman perpetrator of this misuse of photography to be properly penalised.

Unfortunately, this kind of scene is going on all over this world. Fortunately, I don't live in an area of this world, where it is taking place, and I don't have to see it. Now, I especially do not want to see it here on a CREATIVE WEBSITE. There is nothing creative about this image. You simply recorded a disgusting scene. Good Riddence!

To everyone else who chances a look at this image, I would like to tell you that I am pleased that this so called "photographer" is no longer around. This site is wonderful, and has helped me tremendously. It's crap like this that we do not need. And to the site admin, rock on! Thanks for taking out the trash!
