Hi: You have a good camera and lens. Stick to Film is my advice. It is a lot more challenging to a up comoing photographer. I like this photograph. It shows that you have an eye for the unseen. You might want to check out the death of the dean of street shooting -HENRI CARTIER BRESSON. Study his photos. A lot ius said about him on internet and in books in College Libraries.

very beautiful but it would be best in tonality sepia or B&W, so you would correct the errors of color and the photo it would become perfect. Regards by Gabry

Nice picture, however the dark tree on the right side is distracting.

Great shot! The b&w is wonderful. (I thought sepia might also produce a cool effect. Hope it's OK.)

Thank you so much for your input. It is greatly appreciated. I thought the people in the background were distracting also, but I wasn't quite sure how to photoshop them out. (I am a newbie at this) I never thought to crop it tighter. Great advice!! Thanks again.

Hi Elissa,

This is really a strong image. The woman on the bench touching her face (crying?) adds a story to this shot.

I thought the background people were a distraction. They weren't sharp enough to be interesting but were too sharp to be ignored. It might be possible edit this in Photoshop or a similar program to tone down or eliminate them.

I tried a different crop to eliminate them. I've attached that it so you can see what it looks like.

A good shot. :-)

Nice architecture phto sample.
B/W are very suitable for most of architecture photos, for example like this.

Congrats!

It's funny ? I would not normally opt for a 200 speed color negative film, a mediocre scan and a little unsharpness ? but what you have is an image that looks "painterly" and, since the pose and the view are just terrific, this reminds me of a Norman Rockwell painting. Keep your vision!
