This is a lovely emotional shot. The innocent child, face averted from the camera, sitting on that incredibly lush green of the law and framed by the strong colors of the flags--all very powerful. The EMT truck at the top is the crowning element. All deeply felt without excessive sentimentalism Well done!

P/S I also did crop a very small part from the left side of the image because there is a tiny black line overthere, in the lower part, that distracts a little.

It's beautiful how youv'e captured the small ladybird on the big sunflower Alissa and so is the color contrast. DOF is excellent and the lighting wonderful, but the main subjects (flower and ladybird) are a little to soft and the whole image gould need a bit more clarity....Best regards, Harry

Hi Elissa,
I agree with Mr Freeman, this photo shows speaks for itself. I actually envy you because you are mastering your skill using a film, wherein it is more challenging. I wish I can learn film photography when the right time comes ;-).
