Unusual angle, like seeing from the view of it's collar. I love the difference in colour of the eyes and nose - great shot!

Quite a peculiar cat you have here shyuan - a very interesting, human-like pose too. Excellent contrast and slight colour to add effect. It actually does look like it is thinking, lovely!

I love cats...this one could be so great if you work it a bit like use photoshop to put in black in white...maybe leave teh eyes in teh original color.

The picture is noisy because of the film i used (ilford delta 3200). This film is a bit different from the other films, which makes the pictures one take using this film to look noisy and grainy. Which is a nice effect if you blow the picture up bigger.

i really love this photograph. some people brush off pictures of animals, especially cats, as "cute" and therefor they do not have merit as artistic, meaningful photographs. although some rather typical pictures can do this, i have a profound appreciation for photographs of cats that are unique and insightful. i believe cats have as much personality as humans, so if a picture can be created that portrays this, as any photograph with a person in it might, then it has potential and should not e dismissed as a "cute shot." this is one of those photos, along with your good use of perspective and line.
