Yes, I know. It's a Drosophila melanogaster making the big doodoo in my kitchen... How rude!

I like it the way it is. Cropping the picture takes away the feeling of movement, which I think is really important here. I like that only one of the seeds is in focus. Great pic!

This is great! I love this kind of photos with simple shapes and colours, and you really manage to give them life! I especially like this one, great work!

Yes, the "Hotel de Sal" lies in Salar de Uyuni. The salt plains is a fantastic place! It really feels like you're on a different planet!

This looks fantastic! Great composition with the little twig in the foreground and the dramatic lighting of the background mountains. It reminds me of "Salar de Uyuni" in Bolivia.

A simple but effective composition with beautiful colours! I think the DOF is a little bit too small because some petals are a wee bit out of focus as well as parts of the center. And I don't really like the frame... But still, it's a very good picture!

Very Bladerunneresque! The angle is interesting. At first I didn't really like it, but I think it gives that little extra to the image. Well done!

I almost thought it was Brooke Shields from the Blue Lagoon... This is really beautiful, a gorgeous model, fantastic lighting and perfect DOF. My compliments!

Fantastic! I love the angle that gives focus to the interesting shadows of the pebbles and still keeps the interesting background. Well done!

This is a great picture Bjorn! I was just about to suggest a crop of the grass part of the image when I saw Lucasz' suggestion, this was almost exactly what I had in mind. I think the grayscale and slightly more contrast really brings out the poewerplant and smoke.

This was an exciting and original view of good ol' pebble beach! The tilt and fisheye view works really well here, and together with the dramatic sky and the old tire it adds upp to a great picture!

Thanks for all your comments, and of course for the Staff Choice award, that's very flattering! I know the focus is not 100%, I think I managed to get it exactly on the edge of one of the straps.
