How in an eye, in an attitude, in an expression of the face, can we express such feeling? The answer is here, looking at your photo Emy. The play of light, the position of the subject, the choice of DOF, the warm colors, give rise to a beautiufl composition which transmit us this particular feeling.

I?m so curious about what Pan says in his comment, cause it seems to be interesting - that opening with pride and envy! Hm, envying are a terrible state both for the person who are and the person being the subject... She?s in wonder like she wishes something and also has a strategi in her mind, her eye?s shows she?s "absent" and the open mouth the satisfaction of her in the others place...

Eris has just tossed her golden apple again, or so it strikes me at first glance. But when I study it I can also find a certain bitter sweetness in her look, as if she's always been aware that the price of the victory she now smiles back on would be too high a price to pay. It is a complex look, envy or not....... and a very nice work, Emy!

i'm very impressed whith this serie... i love these visions of urban/industrial inhumanity. titanic proportions, hostile perspectives, suffocating spaces... do you like VNV nation? i think their music fits well...
