As you defend my images against bad critiques, so I defend yours...
The grain is actually what makes this shot have feeling. It adds a lot of sadness and remorse to the shot and makes you feel like you're in the winter storm pictured here. The thing thats really good about this shot is the tire tracks leading away to the person walking. They give hope and they counter-balance the gllomy feeling to the shot. Besides all of this the color and tones to the shot along with great contrast make this a shot worthy of an award. Cheers to perfection and cheers to the best shot of yours that I have seen since we've taken photo journeys together...

Too grainy and a little too much elements to distract. But a nice view in the end.

Miles, I love the picture. Only downside is, that it reminds me of how those two feet managed to end up next to me on both Frontline bus rides.
P.S. Your feet really smell.

Excellent and dramatic image. The train could be there any second and he looks stranded on the track like a rabbit caught up in the head light !.
The joys of photography. Long may your journey together continue.
regards, ken.

I didn't really want to have a symetrical feel to it, I wanted to incorporate his reflection but have the focus on the arm itself.

The yellow lights were from the overhead aisle lights and the subtle blues were from the blue screens of the unused TV's, thanks for the comment Gayle you are quite the photographer.

Hey, I really like the picture. I don't really like that you can't see the person on the bed's head at all.
I do like the light, how there's one bright spot of light, and it's mostly gray everywhere else.
I like the title, and I could beg to differ. ;D
And I totally have an account now. Woo!

The night is always young good sir. I like what you've done with the pic Miles. Great lines throughout the shot and I really like how the big blackness on each side frames the shot perfectly...
