At first the photo really caught my eye for the interesting color's and lighting effects. However after reading the story behind it, it really brought this photo to life and gave it such tremendous feeling. Great job capturing such tragedy.

Yeah, that was something that I was having trouble with. How would I have changed that? In order to get the softness of the water I had to have the shutter open for a bit, but when I did the light off the water would do that. Any advice?

Nice idea with the altered focus. I wonder what it would look like reversed, with the background focused and the flowers blurred. Either way it's a great shot. Good job.

Very nice picture. Great way to grasp every day life. It would be interesting to see this picture with a greater contrast of whites and blacks. It seems like there is a lot of gray in there. Still a great photo though.
I just added some contrast grain in photoshop.

Soooo this shot is beautiful. Wanna know what else is beautiful? I am moving back up this Summer. Also my dad is the new owner of the D200, meaning I might be the owner of his old D70. How tight will we be hitting up photo journies with your rebel and my D70? Call me up sometime.

Pretty much you are awesome and have a wonderful eye, and hey if someone tears you down on a pic I am here to shut them up. Only cause I know you are there to do the same for me. I love you man and I miss you. Unfortunatly I am flat broke therefor can't get live yet, but soon man soon.

He does use a tripod, I believe that the tilt of this picture gives it charicter, a centered object on a perfectly level picture is somewhat boring, but the angle gives this picture life and life to the fullest. Great shot Mi Amigo.

Thank you for your comment, however, I really like the phone line because it sort of divides the pic and gets rid of the useless sky and draws the attention to the main focus. That is the great part of photography, everyone has their own eye for what they like, again thank you for the comment.

I was looking at all your photos and I noticed that you have a natural eye for unnoticed beauty, your photo skills have also greatly progressed in the few pics you have on here. Great shot here and a wonderful eye for contrast, keep it up.

The yellow lights were from the overhead aisle lights and the subtle blues were from the blue screens of the unused TV's, thanks for the comment Gayle you are quite the photographer.
