This is amazing! Wow, I didn't know that a camera could be such a serious danger. Just that fact along makes this photo magnificent. I love the composition and the three symbolic emblems present.
Keep it up,
Amazing!

Aw, Nick you did it again!

I love the rushing feel of this dimly lit railway station. I really like the darkness...it limits what the viewer can see but allows more imagination to take place. This is from a more limited perspective, but I love that the signs are not in English. Also, it’s interesting that the clothing store is open; the photo feels like it’s late at night and a bargain is the last thing a person is looking for!

Did you do much post-processing?

Aw, i love the contrast and clarity. you're right about the lighting and her eyes! amazing! so do you like the 28-70mm? i've been thinking about the 85mm, but worried it might be too macro for people shots.

do you like the 20d? i use the 5d and cannot find anything wrong with it. what is your favorite lens??

sorry to bombard you with questions! i love your use with lighting.

cheers
Erin

Hey friend,
Those clouds are amazing! Such strong detail and contrast. All the details can be seen in the men as well. Perfect. Did you take this recently?
I haven't been able to get on here in a while! I got a new job and then have become swamped with photos. That is a good thing; however, not much time to do anything for fun. I got a 5D!!! Yay :) I still need to thoroughly read the manual to better understand the particulars. How do you get your photos to be so crisp and clean? And do you have any suggestions as to where I can improve my lighting skills?
Hope your life has been great! I love your new photos :)
Good to "talk" to you again,
Erin

Hi Marian! Thanks for checking out my photos, and I'm glad I got a chance to look at yours. They are beautiful! Your b&w's have such sharp contrast, composition and great subjects of interest.
Makes me want to visit your country!

One of my favorites...try increasing the shaddows and make you really dark...it may look more stark and solid

I like this... perhaps a more different take would be to lay on the ground and have the plane against the blue sky? Then the background wouldn't be competition for the main attraction? What do you think? Or even with the angle of the mountains in the background? Just thoughts :)

Your pictures have amazing contrast! I love the triangle this composition creates...the odd points make a lovely photo. My favorite is the shadow covering his eyes...makes you wonder what he is thinking and feeling.
Excellent!

Good shot, I think next time take it more of the horse and people and perhaps less of the grass? If they let you like an upward angle from the front of the horse and have the people peeping around to see you.
Keep it up!

The colored specks create the illusion of confetti! I love the perspective and how the vivid beauty consumed you-- almost feels as though the colors are going to come crashing down. I think this is one of my favorites...however, I don't have the words to describe why!

Aw, what a great comment! Thanks Rob
We drove across town, only to realize I left my memory card at home...so once we got back to my house--it was getting too dark. These flowers were on the side of the road, in front of my place...haha. She was pretty excited about them, however, I think a little annoyed at my absentmindedness! She's still one of my best friends, so I guess she forgave me!
Thanks again,
Erin
