Wonderful colors of the birds feathers and the varying shades of each one. The red in the beak and the shape really draws my eyes into the photo and towards the heads of the birds. Love the look of the ripples in the water.

WOW! What a beautiful landscape. I never knew tea fields were so beautiful. Love snow capped Mt. Fuji in the background also.

Adorable! Excellent B & W with great lighting.

Love the tears, but I hate to see a child with tears in their eyes.

I've never seen a Hummingbird at rest - I didn't actual know they do that.

I figured those wings never stopped even at rest.

To bad he wasn't faving forward for this one. Regardless, a rare site indeed.

It's amazing that these birds have such a long life span. They are beautiful to look at with the colors of their feathers. I'm sure they are also hard to part with when they are sold.

Beautiful colors, excellent focus and the DOF - perfect!

The Ibex looks superb here in the image. I'm not so sure about the eyes though. On my monitor the eyes appear to be quite bright in color (redish-orange) and look as they have been altered in some way.

I like the adjustments you have made to the background the Ibex really does stand out.

He sure is a natural in front of the camera.

Great tones. I too like this overprocessed look.

Excellent focus and composition.

Excellent light and shadows. I like how the East & West Mitten Buttes are lite up and the shadow being cast at the base of the mitten on the right.

I do see a speck of white, which I'm not sure if that is what Bill is referring to as the "dead pixel", the the butte on the left has quite a few of these white specks which I think might just be the light reflecting off of the rock at the base of the butte.

The color of the blue sky looks amazing.

I'd have to say I prefer the color version over the B & W.

I think the Himalayan Ibex stands out more in the color version.

I can only imagine how the inside looks.

I too would be interested in knowing how many images were stitched together to create this one.

Excellent work!

I think Doyle has been sitting in "That 70's Show" basement in his spare time. LOL!

The glowing edges look great in his hawk shot. It almost looks like you left the eye the natural way that it would appear in an untouched image. If so, I like it. Either way it is different.

I do like Doyle's image with the moon added to the image. The moon fills up the dark space and gives the image a bit more balance.

Gorgeous roses! Haven't seen anything posted from you lately, I'm sure you have been busy with your other hobbies.

California has had a few days of high temps and I'm not looking forward to the hotter temps this summer.

You have her perfectly placed here as to not have any sunlight on her face.

Beautiful girl and colors. I like the light seen in her eyes.

Beautiful!

I love how the sky is a bright shade of blue with the sunlight and then the rest of the image has more dramatic colors.

The only thing I would change in the image is the amount of black area in the foreground. It serves no purpose and distracts from the beauty of the rest of the image.

My first question is are you from San Pedro or were you just visiting the Port of Los Angeles?

Good photo of the Angel's Gate Lighthouse.

I actually thought about walking along the breakwater to get to the lighthouse to take a few photos, but my better judgement told me that wasn't a good idea.

I did take a harbor cruise and got a few images of the lighthouse which I did like. Here is a link to one of them.

Excellent series of photos of the moon's total eclipse.

I love how it looks in the panoramic veiw and the original is small and hard to see.

Ecellent presentation - it really lets us see the different phases.

The man feeding the birds is wonderful and it's great that the birds are so comfortable with the human hand feeding them.

The girl in the image seems kind of in her own world and not even interested in watching what is going on. The colorized part of her sweater doesn't seem to really have a place in the photo as she does and is distracting from what is the focal point here.

I never knew what the raw version of Coriander looks like until now.

I like the lighting but feel that the image should have been move sharp towards overall especially towards to top of the mountain of the Coriander.

The color of the background is perfect and blens in nicely.

Great sharpness in this image to show the rock and the texture.

I love the colors and it reminds me of my trip to the Nevada and Arizona area. The colors of the rock formations are incredible.
