Nice shot. I can see the baby elephant's smile. A different crop of this photo might help to place more emphasis the main subject.

Good portrait. He has a very determined look in his eyes.

Alex's face is where the emphasis needs to be, but the shirt is important because it helps to add personality to the shot. You might want to crop off the bottom portion of the picture where his shirt is crumpled. This will avoid pulling the viewer away from Alex's face.

It is a very good shot.
