Thanks for your comment Andre. I was about 25 meters away and about 10 meters higher and took it with the long lens. I tried to tell the story of the drought we are experiencing.

thanks for the nice comments. I was quite lucky in that the game farm has a platform from where one can look at the giraffes. I was therefor at his eye-level :-)
Have just returned from my honeymoon. What a lovely time. Will post some of the shots later.
