Thanks Angela. No, no effects were used. Just converted to bw, and then cropped. The dof is what did it I guess.

Adorable and even old fashioned looking. Did you do anything different to the background besides it just having dof?? For some reason it looks almost painted on my screen. I love the affect, if indeed there is an affect. : )

Ha! That bunny is so adorable and very photogenic. Love the little boys look too- great details and perfect focus and lighting. Are you using a fill flash to offset the bright background?

Hi Kay! Thanks for your comment! I borrowed this bunny from a friend who has had him for a while. He loves to be petted and held, and loves kids. He is not leashed, although I had one ready. But it was rainbow colored! Wouldn't have looked good in the pictures. He did kind of hop around, but there were 6 adults standing around at this moment in time, all poised and ready if the bunny bolted. He did a great job, and I was so blessed to have a friend who let me use him!!

Wonderful shot- love the curiosity of the little guy! Really cute! How do you keep your bunny from hopping off VERY fast? Mine can out hop me running anyday! Is it leashed?

What a cute bunny too- we have a rabbit, but he is not very fond of kids and kicks and scratches them when they hold him. How did you find such a docile bunny? Love this shot!

This is a very nicely done portrait. And perfect for the coming holiday. I just had a lady ask if I'd do some shots with bunnies or lambs too. Wonderful job here though and I like the effect of the white line on her coat or shirt. Very neat.

Lovely spring tones and sweet expression she has. She is so slim it seems as if the photo is stretched longways- but I know it is not! Your logo is perfect- just light enough not to be obtrusive and big enough to see.

I'll have to try that with the burn tool myself. Thanks for sharing that little tid bit! I'll also go and check out dreammakers. I hadn't been to that particular site before. Thanks!

Thanks Angela. The texture is actually on the background. It's a cotton weave material. I got it from Dreammakers.com. I did burn some of it to give it more depth, in Photoshop. It is one solid color. So the color variances were done in photoshop with the burn tool.

I agree- the camera loves her! Her smile is sweet and natural- hard to get at that age! Really great technique with the backlighting and poster bounce- that made for a great catchlight in her eyes.
