Clever angle. I would have made the shot more grainy.

I love the visual transformation ... rolling country to apparent industrial ... with the model throwing friendly into the darker side. Good balance and emotion. Another shot of the model with a serious look would have changed the pictures stance completely.

Simply amazing ... the shadows and the greys of the sky. I love how the colors of the lighthouse stand out past all the rest of the landscape

Prasanta, I am somewhat drawn to your picture. It appears flat, but with hidden angles as the boat is tilted and the oars are drawn off at opposing angles.
I took the liberty of changing the picture to see it from a different perspective. I lost the clarity but gained a moodiness I think your picture had the potential to create.
Great work from my fellow Bengali.

Actually, I extracted the man sitting down and applyed a -100 Saturation filter to the rest of the picture to create a black and white image. I did not change the color of the man or his bigs. See the original picture.

Do you have an open gallery? I will be in your area this week.

This was really good. Did you really use a 1/15 shutter? It seems too slow a shutter to use on closeups. Amazing expression

I see the perspective you were trying to show. What I was trying to do was follow the skateboarder's shadow. By contrast, in the right frame of the picture there are people who are looking at an upwards angle. Rather than make it seem like they have tilted their head too far upwards, I found a common ground between them and used this angle.
Or I could just tell you I was in a pizza parlor having the best slice of my life in one hand with a camera in the other.
You pick which explanation you like best. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the comments. This place feels ominous, hence it looks that way. I simply photographed it from the angle to bring it out that way, then kept the sky out of the image to make the building itself provide all of it's gloom.

Thanks, Ian and Dan, for your comments. I'm glad you saw into what I was trying to portray. I would not have posted this one if it was just the flowers. I feel that the woman in the background added the angular interest to the picture. It is because she is looking outside of the scope of this photo that makes it mysterious.

Amazing shadows, great contrast. It is very hard to do a black and white shot that doesn't make the focal point different shades of grey. You were able to isolate almost all of it to the polar extremes.
