im just so happy as always to hear from you my dearest Ray...
yes, i have always wanted to express in photo what a vision in a dream would be like.. and for me,is thru B&W with hazy shadows.. i guess that most of our dreams are quite difficult to remember and picture as we awaken ...this also reminds me of some of my dreams...
..in this picture, i really wanted to use the subway as my location but im afraid, all i found was an underpassage in one of the quiet streets...although it seemed like a subway with trains on both sides, they are actually large posters seemingly like windows from the subway trains...
but, im really glad that you like it...
i always hope for sweetdreams for you too!

Ray dearest this is a Le Meriden Hotel room so there is no "homey" or personal items anywhere.. i loved the lights and the mirrors in the room that i really had to take a photograpgh of it... the large mirrors can be found on all three corners of the room (four including the large windows)so its a little tricky so as not to include my self in the picture..
...( The first lesson i learned before i started photography : always utilize available light within the room to enhance photos and feel of the atmosphere and that using flash isnt always necessary..)
i am a Filipino dear but i work as an OR nurse in Abu Dhabi, one of the seven emirates of UAE...so most of all the photos are taken in UAE. Its rather hard for females to go out alone and go to places here even if it is an open country. its another reason too that my subjects are just limited around my house, or the small things in the confines of my room.i wanted to visit more places so i can have more photos.. im planning to move to canada hopefully soon...then maybe i can have more subjects...
im always delighted to hear from you my friend.. im looking forward to hear more from you..

Huggss to you too dear Ray... i wish you are ok too... yes, i was broken lately and although its very hard for me... i managed to be happy again.. for i have found a new love...photography... it healed me so much...likewise, this phenomenal book series "The Twilight Saga" gave me more comfort than i have wished for... i was hoping that i could capture some of the wonderful words and atmosphere in those marvelous books together with my new found art of photography...indeed time heals deep cut wounds..

okay.. i'll critic my own photo first..
..first of all, i like the little boy even his back turned againts me.. seems like hes caught up in his own world... unaware of his surrounding.. thats the moment i want to catch...
next thing.. the colors around him is as pleasant and as child-like pastels as it can be.. like the pink crocs,, the light green grass and the early morning sun..the muted earth colors...
again, its a shame though that his mother's foot ( which is out of my control) is caught up behind him... although, its the same reason i placed the title because i want to justify it...that even though this little boy is caught up in his own world, he's not far away from the care and worry of his mom..
lastly, hopefully , others will also find time and put something into this photo since im new in UF so i could learn more..
