Guy
Now I remember being on that trek with you and I wonder if you had any help in photographing yourself on this one??????

If not, then its a great self portrait with the feathered friend. I remember that trek well.
cheers
Jack

When you go back, we'll take a hike up to the sugar bush in front of my place. I've found the remenants of the old sugar shack. Tons of old gears, steel, and such. Difficult lighting though. The last two pictures I posted are from up there.

Thanks for your in-depth comment. I'm glad I'm not a mechanic because I would get the wrong parts. I appreciate what you said about old things. I'm also a metal abstract artist and use many such old things in my sculptures. Deterioration fasinates me, and I like to re-present it to the world, either in a photo or a piece of art work.

In this picture I like how you kept the road over to the extreme right. It draws attention to the field, yet the picture is framed nicely.

At first the viewer of the photo is drawn to the colour, and just when that sinks in, the viewer is being viewed. Good work

Am I right? Is there a white ghostlike image to the right of the girl? If there is, and you did that on purpose, then many cheers.

I like how you draw attention to the corsage and the tie. Obviously it must be one of the highlights of this fellow's evening. I've done something similar with one of my photos (blue waterfall)

As I commented to Ania Baran on her latest photo, the photo forces us to look beyond the obvious. You have done that with this photo.
Great eyes to see this beauty in destruction.
