Excellent portrait! I've wondered where these kinds of photos were. You don't see a lot of them around UF. Well done. I wouldn't change a thing, but do wonder what it would look like in b&w. Would make a nice cover for a coffee table book of pictures similar to this one. Nice profile you have.

Dale, This is lit with one light--a photogenic monolight fitted with a medium softbox. The background is a solid piece of gray paper. The lighting on the background is simply overspill of the light hitting the model. I have darkened the corners of the image a bit and added a green cast to the whole image in photoshop but that doesnt effect the lighting at all.

I like your lighting here. Her body art is cool. But I'm intrigued by the light. Is the background lit separatly? Or is the background lighter in the middle? Or has it been digitally enhanced to give that effect? I would love to learn how you lit this image.

Thanks for your comment. I personally would like to see this in black and white too. However, since the focus on this series is the tattoo, it's difficult to show the vibrant colors in some of them. My client is the tatoo artist.

I really like this grouping of pictures together. The shot with their feet on the stones really gives you the feeling of humans invading a space which is not their own. And yet the girl holding the glass being so fascinated with nature... shows our natural curiousity for it.
All in all I think it really shows what a field trip is about.

Quite a nice still life with nice light.. The composition though is a bit boring.
Shouldn't that be "three pears" btw? Or do I miss something?
