Beautiful portrait of one of our veteran heroes. Very nice. Pat them all on the back from me, and give them my thanks for what they do.

Brian - I really enjoy you images of fires and the firefighters who put them out. How about posting a few more, or even better, set up a portfolio for the shots. I'm also quite interested to see the images you got while you were out in San Diego.

Excellent photo, but oh so scary. I keep wondering if every one got out. I watched the house next door burn a few yrs ago and I could not believe the power of a house fire.

Very well taken image Brian. The reason for that is , if a bird photo is not taken at bird's eye level, it in most situation, can not give a establishment of contact between camera and bird. Very nice colors.

Excellent composition, Brian! Exposure is perfect, especially with control of the reflections and shadows. Hope you remembered to duck when the rotors started turning!

The exhaustion on his face and the detail of the work remnants on the firefighter tells its own story. Excellent.

Thankyou also for commenting on my images. Judi
