Thanks. It is kind of grubby downtown but I like it. Urban decay is my favorite subject.

Hissing of Summer Lawns is a fabulous album. I bought it in 75 when it first came out and loved it. It got horrible reviews for the African rhythms and then years later, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel and Sting followed in her footsteps. She is always 10 years ahead of everyone else. She ahs stopped writing music now and only paints, since she found the daughter she put up for adoption. Sorry this is so long. I am rather obsessive.

Patrick, I odnt believe you quoted Joni MItchell !! The only thing I love more than phtography (and my daughter and her kids if course) is Joni.
I was listening to Shadows and Light album last night, Hejira is my favorite song by her.
"White flags of winter chimneys waving truce against the moon."
You are definitley an old soul Patrick. If I were 30 years younger and straight I would fly to the UK to track you down HA!

At first I thought this was flipping me the bird. But no, just pointing the way.
After reading your discussion with Annemette about age, I am going in to the other room and shoot myself. I will be 59 next month, but I am still immature.

Beautiful abstract. I am really going to have to get out on the street and try the "Crow" technique.

You just made my day, maybe my month. I love this bag and just got back form a trip. I left it out so I could figure out how I could photograph it. Thanks so much for your kind comment and praise.

Yes, we call it a sea urchin. They serve it at Sushi bars and it is called Uni. I personnal cant stand the taste or texture but Japanese people love them and so do some others.
Your tide pools have so much more in them than the ones in California. Reminds me of Maui.
Nice job !
