Thanks, Andre and everyone else who commented. I have to say that I have never before this shot found ants to be beautiful. Normally, well... I squish 'em. But they really are quite exquisite, aren't they? I still don't want them making a mess of my damned lawn, however....

On the assumption that the mice can speak neither english, french, nor cat-onese, I did them using graphics. Which they appear to be ignoring. I should also like to point out that our cats are very effective at controlling the local songbird population - always a good thing at 4:30 in the morning. Now if they could only do something about the damned crows...

Simple and effective with a good atmosphere. I'd recommend adding a slight blue/cool tint to enhance the atmosphere.

Great about with this one Jon.
I agree, you have to leave the horizon crooked in this case. If a judge sees it differently, they shouldn't be judging a photography contest. ;)

This looks great Jon!
I like all the subtle differences in the lighting over the fields. It's a challenge to shoot an open field and make it interesting. You've done it with this one.
