Kind of a harsh tone. I liked the thumbnail more. But there is something about it that catches your attention. It kind of looks like a reflection of herself. It is very sharp and crisp, I like that.

I like the cropped version better, it focuses more on one while still showing that many more are around. Invokes alot of emotions. Great job!

Dan,
this is one of the original images, I took like 5 different shots because the kids were squirmy and I wanted to try to get the best one.

Roger-
this was actually done while the wedding party got ready in a hotel room so I used available natural window light and lamp light for fill, I didnt want to use the flash if I didnt have to, I like what natural light can do.

I guess I should have explained why he cut all 27" off (donated it too) because he is following his dream in law enforcement. Got hired on at the sheriffs dept working the jail till he becomes a full time patrol deputy on the streets. He is so excited. I cant wait for the uniform shots!

Thank you for your comment. She is a bit sassy but maybe thats from doing beauty pageants all her life. It gave her confidence. She is a natural in front of the camera and has even won 3rd in the state for photogenic before.

actually think I do agree and like it more in black. I am a bigger fan of black anyway, its classis and tasteful and everything at once. Thank you for working on this and helping me!

Thanks guys, after I look at it with your comments I dont much care for the sepia, and neither did she! she said Oh no mommy made me look old! lol... I am still learning my sepia methods, usually use the duotone effect and play with the values of that, is there a better way?
Yes Jeff I see what you mean about being too artisitic for school but that is exactly whats not being done, altough I agree this one is a bit much. I would love your comments on all my school series pics because i highly value it. I also need to know what would sell. If you all have kids and preferred to try a pro over the school, what would you like for your kids that I have done?

No, not scanned, I guess I was worried about how sharp would be too sharp for floral, still wanting it to look soft not domineering but I can see what you mean because the sharper the color the better in something like this. I personally love color. Thank you for your suggestion! ~mandy
