Thanks guys for the comments but my idea of this picture was she was hiding behind her daddy and finding comfort looking from the safety of his arms.

Dan,
I actually use Ulead Photoimpact 8 more so than I do my photoshop, alot of the same elements. That is how I did this, with the color spot filter vignetted and made almost transparent. Hope this helps.

wonderful artwork nicely done. the filters dont always work to produce something this nice, sometimes they just make it look odd but it was used perfectly here. ~mandy

This is just incredible! I love the entire scene and the moon only adds to it. The reflection is awesome. Looks like this should be a huge exquiste poster. I'd own this piece of art! ~mandy

Love the composition here. The water is an excellant source of power for this particular image and to me, makes it. I think the frame is just a bit too thick, but I too love frames. I think this a a great piece of work of a typical scene. Good JOb!

Quick picture? Nicely done for so quick, if thats what you give a quickly done job would love to see what you put effort into! This attracted me right from the thumbnail, it looks looming and almsot scary but ancient and so beautiful! Something I'd have on my way. The only thing that distracts me is the cactus? in the foreground. Love this! Great job!

OMG I wanna go there now! Beautiful. I am fond of sunsets anyway but they can be triclky to capture sometimes without looking like all the others who have captures them before. I love the fact that you have not only palm trees in this but also shadow people, it adds to the disticntion of the overall compostition. Although I kind of agree about the power lines, its not so bad as to take away the overall beauty though. Keep up the good work! ~mandy

Nice work and you explained yourself well, obviously you know what your doing. Need we remind people its not always a flaw to cut out certain parts when done so appropriatly. I've had to learn that after long being told not to. I love the crisp color and the expression. Wonderful job! ~mandy

Very , very interesting! Humorous and artful. Its always interesting to apply whatever it is your applying and see the outcome from one persons mind, to see through one persons eyes. Thanks for sharing your work. Also thank you for your comments, made my day!

This is a awesome shot, no blurriness and very sharp. The only thing is it is almost washed out , could use a little more contrast to help that. I know thats hard with beach and sunlight. Great shot. ~Mandy

Yellow roses are my fave and this is just beautiful detail. The only possible thing that could make it any better is that new technique that I want to work on with the cutout effect. Other than that, it cant get better. Wonderful job! ~mandy

Beautiful shot. Love the image, its almost perfect. The only thing that caught my eye was the contrast, maybe a little too bright? Needs more contrast in my mind. But its an awesomely tender moment captured greatly on film. Good job! ~mandy
