Hi Joe - thanks for your comment. Many years ago someone kept them in captivity and release them into the wild. Since then we have thousands flying around along the entire Dutch coast. They favour forests and parks. Very intelligent birds that fly around in large flocks. They seem to have adapted very well to the local vegetation and the cherry blossom trees seem to have an extra appeal. There's quite a bit of info on them on the Internet.

Thanks for your comment Neil (also Teunis). No there was no need to change the perspective. Most of my photo's are taken in 1.3mp mode. I guess a good lens does make the difference.
