I really like this photo. It makes me think of a 1920s fair for some reason, ladies walking around in their big dresses fanning themselves under frilly umbrellas while learing about new inventions and contraptions shown to them by the various peddlers in booths surrounding the ferris wheel. What could be greater than sitting on a dock under the stars searching for a now completed horse? Those nights where indescribable, many more to come, I love you Ryan McMillen.

Nice idea, almost feels like the old is fighting for its place overcome with the new, battling it out in the various architecture around the city. The "antiqued" contrast adds a lot to the composition, while the waving lines from the reflection add movement to the piece. Good job.

Wow, great picture! The lighting is simply amazing. It gives the whole picture a dream-type quality increasing the viewers' imagination in figuring out what the boy's story is. Great job.

Wow, fantastic capture! How you set up your did you set up your camera on this? Is the yellow just the lighting, or is it the dreaded photoshop? Either way it is a great photograph, good job, absolutely worth getting up at 3am for.

Wow, once again you have captured an amazing sky. I don't ven know if we have skies like that in Illinois...just kidding. I love complementary orange of the field to the blue of the sky and how the tree on the right stands solid and alone, giving the picture a theme. At first glance, the tree even looks like a person admiring the view. Good capture.

I love the texture of this photograph, was there any photoshop involved or is it simply hand developing or film? Great capture.

Wow, this sky is beautiful, marvelous capture of the roaring sky. Too bad it wasn't over water so you could have captured it twice in the reflection. Great work.

I really like this photo, especially how you kept the footprints in the foreground, it gives the picture more depth and adds to the story. Was the subject actually a soldier? The fisheye adds a lot to the picture also, along with the awesome clouds and contrast in the background. Great job.

Courier of life, or perhaps the interrupter of a first kiss...At least I got one in the end, from a special someone that I miss so much right now. Come back soon. Oh, and great picture by the way, way to use the rule of THIRDS.
With Love,
Caitlin

I would like to say the dust was intentional, but in actuality it was probably aquired from scanning the image onto my computer; it does add an antique feel to the portrait though...lol Thanks for the comment.

Cool picture, I love the reflection and the coloring/lighting, it shows great duality. Great idea to put it in upsidedown too. Where were they riding?

Yes, i love the effect very much! Shells are interesting things aren't they? They travel around the world by the sand of the sea and when they find a place they think the want to visit, they simply wash up on the shore...interesting creatures, shells

I love your photography! It has that dreamy quality to it, like scenes from the movie "Big Fish". The objects look real, but in an abstract way, like they are covered by a smoky filter. Good job

I like the bright green shade thrown against the dirty, grey background. It looks like she has come out of black and white and discovered color for the first time. Great capture.

I love pictures like this where beauty is found in most unusual places. Trash to me is very interesting, rust and dirt are sometimes so much more intriguing and beautiful than a clean, perfected shot. Good job.

Awesome clouds, it looks like the sky is being taken over by yellow-orange cotton balls! Very pretty though, in a dangerous sort of way.

I like this picture a lot. I love when the focus of a portrait is not on the face, it just adds so much to the photo and adds mystery for the viewer. This looks so old fashioned and like the model is pondering, blissfully pondering

"At every corner, handkerchiefs drop, fingers beckon, eyes besiege, and the lost, lonely, the rapturous, the mysterious, the perilous changing clues of adventure are slipped into our fingers. But few of us are willing to hold and follow them."

?All the same, I believe it was the hand of Fate that doped out the way for me to find her.?

O Henry anyone?
