I always enjoy shots like these cause they are not abstract( which is why I was happy to see you called it a still life) these points of view exist and the camera is just a tool that allows us to see them.

I like this picture alot and I wondered why? Because there was something in the composition. I think it is the underlying "L" shape repeated with the walkway. the church, and a slightly distorted/truncated "L" in the sky.
