Hi Thamer, Very powerful nightshot, with well preserved tones and details. the beams of light add alot to the look and feel of this one. Very well taken!

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Hugo,

I'm fine thanks, how about you?

I actually rotated it in PS. The main subject here is the minaret, not the bricks/road. So it didn't make sense to me to have the minaret upside-down, you know what I mean?

Thanks for the comment...

Hi Thamer, How've you been? Haven't heard from you in a while, but I've been away for a while too.

Nice shot, and a good postprocessing job. I'm not sure if rotating the shot 180 degrees (or did you hold your camera upside-down?) is quite necessary. It creates a slight unbalance, which I think would not have been there in the straight up version....

Good shot, though

Cheers,

Hugo

Very nicely spotted. Turning it upside down makes sense, but the perspective of the bricks makes me a little dizzy.

PS work included B&W conversion, Levels adjustment and Burning. Nothing was added to the photo.

Thanks for the comment...

7+ from me also..this should be an award winner. Perfect, dark moody tones and contrast. Very appealing composition.

For me, it's all about the composition in this image. The beautiful flow of my eye across the photograph. It's simple and clean and very appealing.

It makes me feel like jazz and film noir. Straight into my favourites.

despite the strong bias on the darkest tones, which i truly like, you managed to get a very balanced image - the clearest tones let the image breath a little. the result is excellent.

Hi Thamer, very intriguing image, and a good way of presenting it. I like the texture and the lighting effects. The grating in the upper left corner is a bit distracting, though. I think cropping (or cloning) it out would balance the photo, and make it more abstract. From a design point of view, I think "golden shadows" (I think that's the one you are referring to) is more powerful. Still a very creative and expressive shot.

Cheers,

Hugo

I like this abstract, nice composition, the bronze colors and the texture. Cant forget the shadows which transform it all into place.

Nice lines. I like the colors. But there is no special statement in the photo, which make the picture interesting. Even if the photo is abstract, it must have a statement, in order to remain exciting. The details of the background make it a little interesting. But not enough, so I think.
