Hi Dave,

I like this, excellent perspective and leading lines. The colour in the cloud is something for the eye to 'land' on at the end of the walk ;-)

I've been thinking there should be some good images to be capture in Chester. Its a place I've never been. I must wander across sometime, now they have me working out of Warrington.

Regards

Keith

It's a terrific composition, Dave, and you chose a wonderful time of day - still color in the sky, but the lights show up well. Certainly worth the effort - love the old architecture, most especially the chimneys.

i like the softness in the grass resulting from the wind in contrast to the sharp focus rest of the photo. It improves the drama already inherent in your composition.

Excellent eye Dave, this photo works so very well. The colors and light in the distance really help pull my eye through the photo very effectively.

Simple of art photo love the natural colour, and brilliant elements selection. Am not sure from which place in Wales you come from but I lived for almost 3 years near Swansea a place called Neath where I finished my University study. Saeed

Great image, looks like the classic windswept beach landscape without the red "thing".

The red "thing" makes it something really different.

i didn't notice the grass untill i read your comment on the photo. I think they look very interesting. I think you should try a photo with a very long exposure to get the grass look really fuzzy.
It is used a lot on water, but I think it might work just as good on grass.

I'd do it myself, but where I live, there is no grass.
