The only thing that's missing from this picture is my pasty Minnesota skin bleaching out a spot just below the palms.
This pic almost makes me feel a warm breeze.

Hi Dave, a pictur perfect shot; the archetypal tropical beach, well composed, and well captured. A pitty about the clockwise tilt in the horizon, it disrupts the appeal of this image a bit.

Cheers,

Hugo

nice shot! great use of light here. the braided trails of light remind me of some cheesy 70s TV show effect. the only thing i'd change is that the tower seems to be leaning a tad, and it doesn't really have a very imposing appearance with the tree next to it in the frame.

great shot nonetheless, and wonderful use of slow shutter speed. well done!

Good shot Dave. from here to infinity. Like the image of the path which winds out of sight. B&W a good chioce for this. crop all but the last inch above the horizon and see what you think. It really lowers the perspective. Again my 2 cents

This image has great potential, a very clear day allowed for you to capture the whole depth of the tracks disappearing, but it looks a little too perfectly centered, to me anyhow. Maybe shifting the focus slightly in the foreground to emphasize one side of the rail. Good work,

Chris

Dave
nice shot. But if you could return in early evening or early morning when the light was not so harse. It would really improve your saturation.
Of course this is not always possible I know. Very pretty place

Nice image, I love old barns, and they are falling down everyday so shoot em while they are still standing. You have to love that D70 ! Heck Rutledge is only a few miles south of here ! I gotta find this one..
