About the DOF though, i have to tell you that i even added some blur here and there, the original image being even deeper.

Well, you`re definitely right on what concearns colours here
I had to try different treatments, as this work was (originally) commercial - so, as you can now guess, theye`re each part of two series on the same subject but slightly different manners of execution.
Personally, i tend to prefer the first one because of the rather heavier atmosphere.

It`s a digital manipulation based on a normal shot.
It was not meant to be fun, nor "nice".
It might be disturbing, for it`s the expression of disturbed state.
