Hi George,
Canon A40 brings good pictures, like your photo seen above. The colors are well saturated, the scene is like a paradise.
My sugestion is only apply a little more sharpness in your image software.
Congratulations. Its a excelent capture.

Nice shot. Perhaps cropping a bit of the sky and enhancing the contrast would improve it even more. It would have nice had you used a telephoto lens (ex. 180mm ) to draw in the planes. Regards, Michael

George most excellent capture. Where were they putting on their show? You didn't come up to Canada and not tell me did you? They generally practice out of the Niagara Airport and fly over our house all the time. Amazing pilots.

Hello Anne! Thank you for the comments on this and the door picture. Sorry I took a whole month to get back to UF. The stitching was a fun first time experience. I could maybe make it work better given more time to play. You were very observant to question the stone on the door picture. They are manmade materials and the sky is totally fake coloring because it was a gray day. It is some sort of control or mechanical building for a grotto which is beneath it. It's located in a cemetery near my office. I have much more to say when I can get the time concerning your portfolio. You have some really beautiful shots there. Regards, George

Hello Christine! Sorry it's almost a month since I've responded or looked at the recent work of my friends. This door is a fake. Well, the door is real, but the stone is man made synthetic material of some kind. It is in a beautiful, large cemetery a block from my office. I just tried to catch it at the right angle. The sky is completely photoshop as it was a gloomy gray day. I can't wait to see what you've been up to. Regards, George

Wow, super 'comin right at yah get the hell out of the way' close-up George. Did you step back in time as I would hope that we would not be deprived of your interesting postings. Super clarity and sharpness on this one. Wait a minute, I just looked again, no driver, unless he is steering from behind the curtain, so this was parked and I thought you were risking life and limb, pfffft :-) ..Christine

George, I like the broad view you've achieved with the stitching, particularly the way the trees become taller across the picture and then end. There is so much to see in this image! The rows of onions in the field on the left draw you to the line of trees, which draw you to the other side of the image. The many shades of green throughout keep it interesting for me. It's too bad the stitching is so obvious due to the differences in the sky colors. I'm impressed with this overall, though, especially since I wouldn't even know how to begin to stitch a picture together. My hat is off to you!
Regards, Anne

George,
What an unusual structure! This is a great shot. I love the variety of colors in the stones (are they stones?) and the brilliant blue sky is a good contrast for the building. I'm also wondering what the building is, where the door leads. Very nice image.
Regards, Anne

This has got to be the most interesting door I have ever seen George. What does it lead to, where is it, how do you get to it??? Fantastic detail of the distressed wood door, texture of the granite and the colours in the rocks. Very original and a great thought provoking image ...Christine
