There are some nice photos in this series, but this one is my favourite. I like the diagonals of the fence rails and their positioning in the composition. The frost covered fence creates a clear contrast of the foreground from the background. The warm pink colour cast on the ice may not be intentional, but it is very relaxing characteristic and the motif for the entire series.

Lovely shot for a natural event.
Only suggestion is to perhaps compose on rule of thirds, taking the frost off-center, and to look at the brightness and contast - the white frost seems a little colored.

Superb motif, I love the hoarfrost ! I would definitively recommend resharpen after resize, maybe a sacrific at the left side wouldn´t hurt, too.

Basically a nice shot James - maybe a slightly lower/closer viewpoint would have allowed you to get all the head above the treeline. Also I would have added a bit more saturation to bring out the colour of the sky, and bingo! Hope that helps. - Andy
