Everybody loves a baby, Verena - so do I :-)
But knowing your skills and having seen such a lot of outstanding photos from yyou, I have to say: This one is on the low side of average.
The light is not even, nor directed, it is just "as is" and it shows: There are some shadows where there should be none.
The crop is... well not the best that one can think of.
All in all it is still aa very cute photo, which is well done, but not up to your own standards, I am afraid.
I just hope your'e not upset with me....

Nice photo with a great DOF, the cloths in foreground give me a sense of tranquility and of everyday things, instead the blurred and dark background with that indistinguishable figure gives a sense of mystery and fear. I think it will be a great serie!! Hugs, Max
