Well no, actually I don't think a helicopter could have made it if it started from where I live. Round trip for this little thing (picture was taken 2/3 of the way) was some 19,000 km or 11,800 miles. :-)
Besides I wouldn't have missed driving up through the incredible scenery of the Dempster highway for anything.

Thanks for the great comments and advice. I've gone back to school for my Masters (tech, not arts) and really have to watch my time and budget. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I will get back into portraits soon.

I don't have a problem with the armpits. Great contrast between the suit and the skintone. It just glows right off the page.....would like to have a bit more dynamicism to the picture, though. Maybe a tilt or if the model had curved or twisted around a bit? Very sexy still.

The expression on the cat's face is priceless. The collage doesn't really strike me as adding anything to an already great photo.
