Thank you for the comment. I was using Canon G6 for this shot. Field of view is rather narrow. I think its 35mm widest. And that's as far back i can go because further back i will be blocked by trees.

Good Picture! Maybe including the entire fireworks would be even better. Great catching both the skyline and the fireworks. If you had a bigger lens and went further away from the fireworks, the buildings could get bigger.

Thank you for your encouraging words and comment on this photo.
This pic actually was sort of "accidental". At that time, while i tried to take photos of this event, there were 2 tall photographers in front of me. I had no choice but to tilt my camera so that i won't be blocked. The hand movement was really fast so it was blurred and i blurred the top right hand corner as well using picasa.

In your bio, you say you are a beginning photographer. I've looked through your portfolio and I really like the way you see things. I'm a beginning photographer myself so take it for what it's worth.
This image is a great capture! Nice color, shutter speed allowing some movement; just a pleasing overall presentation.

A good picture of a nice model. (maybe a little bit to skinny though). The background could be a little bit more different from the model. But in these picture its not easy to decide the bacground. A job well done.
