Thanks for all of the great comments lately Rebecca. Glad you like this pic, I'm a big fan of it too (which is really surprising because I'm not too fond of most of my shots). This was originally in color and in 2x3 format but I really liked how the stairs looked so I the sky and trees out. I'm really happy with it and glad that you like it. I'll take some time soon to check out more of your work...

Yes Miles, I agree so much with the freakin radical beam across the top. It makes me want to do my happy dance. I'm still super stoked about your train pic. It is one of the coolest pics that I have ever seen. Seriously. I want to see the enlarged version. I'm super excited to set up tripods on top of the railroad crossing beam that we sat on. That is going to be so gnarly that I might have to just wet my pants over and over while we are taking pics from up there. Hopefully no coppers catch us...

Sara freaking Toga!!!!!!!! I really like it Miles. I am so glad that we went on that great photo journey. We were really productive in our picture taking and I loved it and I'm excited to get my pictures back really soon because I don't know if my train shots will be really cool or if they will be really dumb. I love you and your crazy antics...

Amazing shot Ray. The cob webs are really interesting and I like how the outlet is upside down or maybe the picture is upside down. Regardless, I like it a lot. How did you get the edge of the negative into your scan? I really want to do that on some of my shots but I can't figure out how with my scanner. Could you reply and let me know so that I can try it out? Thanks...

I usually prefer to bang my head against the snow. Its more fun when you're wearing snowboard gear rather than a suit. I would also rather hit my head on things while attatched to a snowboard rather than carrying a briefcase. You gotta let this guy know that he's got it all wrong...

It seems like everyone thinks that the dog is cute. So would this amazing girl that I know, she would want the dog to kiss her face all over and slobber on her while she talked to it like a cute little baby. I would just sit there thinking "the dog is ugly, stop making out with it." And by the way, great framing and good expression capture. I like when portraits of people or pets capture emotion and I think that you've done this well in your picture. Great shot...

I like how you composed the shot Gayle: the skater is in a good spot in the picture and he has good style to his air. You didn't catch him at an akward moment, he looks natural. The blur effect is a good thought to show motion but it is a little excessive in this pic. If you are going to blur the skater, there has to be something about him that remains solid. Skate shots aren't easy for anyone. The fast motion and the un-predictable motions from each skater. Combine that with the inconsistency of trying to land tricks and failing over and over, it makes every skate shot hard to capture well...
