To Peter: (and other great photography critics)
Thank you very much, that was a real helpful comment you left. Not only did you tell me you didn't like my pic without reason, you offered no suggestion of what would make my picture better. Adding to all of this, you don't have any pictures yourself to let me know what kind of pictures are aesthetically pleasing to your precious eyes. Thank you Peter for making me a better photographer. I really really really really appreciate your wonderful insight...

Wow Miles. Seriously, I'm in awe. You have gotten so much better in the last 6 months. You have seriously developed into an amazing photographer with a great eye for creative pictures. I'm going to really miss taking pics with you until you return. I want to see pics from CA photo journeys without me...

Shelley, comments on pictures isn't really a means of chating. Please only use comments criticize or compliment pictures, and only do that if you know what you're talking about. I'm trying to extablish a credible online portfolio that is somewhat professional and it doesn't help with lots of random chatty comments...

Yeah, Kev, I'm actually in the process of making them a new sign. The sign I'm making is to educate people on the dangers of putting their kids in the dryer. Lots of people don't know that kids are not dryer-proof and when their kids are inserted into the dryer, bodily harm may occur. I know what you're thinking right now, "the kids love the heat". I know they love the heat, but the real problem is actually the tumbling. The hitting of heads and the breaking of fingers and what not. The tangling of hair and the ripping of clothes. No kids in the dryer Kev, that goes for you too...
lol...

As you defend my images against bad critiques, so I defend yours...
The grain is actually what makes this shot have feeling. It adds a lot of sadness and remorse to the shot and makes you feel like you're in the winter storm pictured here. The thing thats really good about this shot is the tire tracks leading away to the person walking. They give hope and they counter-balance the gllomy feeling to the shot. Besides all of this the color and tones to the shot along with great contrast make this a shot worthy of an award. Cheers to perfection and cheers to the best shot of yours that I have seen since we've taken photo journeys together...

Thanks Ben for pointing that out. Both exposures were not at f/22 @ 30", only the first one of the city was at those settings. The second exposure for the moon was a lot shorter and I'm not sure wich pic this ended up being because I bracketed for the moon and took a few shots while keeping the city settings the same. Thanks to everyone for the great comments...

It has classic "Seth-style" to it. I like the B&W as always and the contrast is really good. Do you know of the local clothing company Ancient? I did the photoshoot for their catalog and it turned out really good. I'm gonna upload some pics from that pretty soon. I'm looking forward to seeing you when you come back. Lets hang out and maybe I'll have some Halo2 up at my house and Fabio and Manchester can dominate the competition. Give me a call when you get back dude. Late-tro!

Nobody's hearts are in the darkness Shelley. The title means changing lives, one at a time. Bringing light to darkness in people's lives. The title isn't really that relevant to the pictue, its just how the picture makes me feel: sad for people but I have hope. I don't think that Cory has been acting all that different lately and I don't think that anything is wrong. He's still Cory any way you cut it...

Russell,
The original is actually already posted on usefilm. I boosted the contrast quite a bit and then added a wind filter. After that, all I did was take a paint brush and paint some big blotchy black marks. Then I added grain and noise and boosted the saturation. It was really simple and quite easy. Thanks for your comment...
