Beautiful timed capture! The white is a little hot, but the detail in the moss and shine off the rocks is otherwise superb!

Very scenic shot. I really like it! It is soothing just looking at it. I can not imagine what it is like in person.

Beautiful picture! I love how the long exposure caused the water to blur. I've always wanted to try that! Great job!

This is a really nice shot -- perfectly titled too! I like the natural lighting and wouldn't change a thing.

Thanks for the helpful comments. David, I didn't realize that there is a truck in the foreground untill I lightened the photo. As the photo is now, the truck doesn't show up on my monitor at all (a laptop). Harry, I thought the birds added to the mood, but agree that you can't really tell what they are from a picture this size. Regards, Tom

Nice shot with a good placement of the horizon. I love Canon beach and miss it alot (Iused to live out west).

I agree with Harry's comments about the birds- look like dust specks and I'd probably clone them out, along w/ that little sploch of red in the foreground.

Regards,
David

Beautiful scene Tom. Wonderful sky colors and silhouettes of the rocks. In this case the very small silhouettes of the birds in the sky are more distracting than adding something to the image because they are so small one hartly can see that these are birds and not just dust spots. When there would be just one or two birds in the sky a bit closer in focus it would have been great. The horizon is a bit tilted to the right. Nevertheless nice work, but a few things to improve next time....Best regards Harry

Evan, thanks for your comments and interpretation, but that's not the way I remember the scene at all. The light was golden and the colors more vibrant. Regards, Tom

You have the same problem that I have. This kind of pictures is normally difficult because the objects are not nitid, it lacks a bit detail. And some times the light is not good enough. Sometimes a good film helps, but I do think that you have to play around with the shutter and aperture, because that can be the answer ...

Tom, wonderful view to open valley. Your color and perspective composition is very good.
With a little practice with PS, you will learn to process your image. IMHO, just few ideas: try to level (water) horizon, use sharpen and touch of hue then saturation... I am sure that you will be surprise how sharp your presentation will be. Good luck. Regards, Rafal

The way realy is that color? Very interesting photo and colors. Looks like you have used very high Iso setting or some PS painting filters.
