Thank you for your e-mail. I took the photo at Embsay, near Skipton, North Yorkshire. There is a small railway running towards Bolton Abbey.
I hadn?t realised it was the same engine as at Haworth ? the two places are about 15 miles apart. I like to take photographs of locomotives, especially when they are in steam.
Thank you for letting me know about the meeting in Northampton on 23rd October but I will be away on holiday at that time.

According to my wildlife book, a Damselfly is 3.6cm (1.42")long. On the photo, it is 25.4cm (10")long.
If you multiply the former figure by 700%, you will get the latter i.e. 10 inches.
You are quite correct about it being a bit out of focus, but it was only taken with a very small compact camera.
