Perfect capture Cookie! I love the lighting from behind which illuminates both girl and horse! The horse glance is at the perfect angle to catch the softness of the eye!

Very nice shot. The backlighting works very well but you might want to use a bit of fill flash to open up the shadows in the girls face a bit. Provided of course that it wouldn't spook the horse...

Very nice composition--well captured. The manipulation of the image does not strike me as particularly effective, though. Perhaps the effect should be even bolder. :-) Regards, --George

Superb...I love manes like this... I wish my horse could grow a decent one..or a great tail for that matter...LoL... very cool could be a cover for Equus ... Well done.. I hope you do not mind but I did a little duotone to it... Do you like?

Actually I used HIGH PASS filter in photoshop 6, the first time I tried it, I like it on this photo. Which otherwise was just Cute. Sharing is how I learned, so am happy to get the chance to pass it forward

Cookie, I like your series on horses very much. Great job but what technique did you use to achieve this, if I may ask. If you prefer not to answere is okay with me but I do like it. Keep photographing tose horses - Hi--ooooh, Silver!
