You were almost correct. This is Franz Josef Glacier, I think Fox is quite close by. Thanks so much for your feedback will keep in mind the rule of thirds.

Hi Kelvin,
I recognise this image. I've done a helicopter flight from up here up the glacier and back down the "Fox".
I think you could have achieved a little more tension by not putting the horizon in the middle. Usually in landscape this is a no-no, although some rules are just made to be broken aren't they
So next time think about using the "rule of thirds" it's always a good starting point for a composition. In this case i would have shown less foreground (maybe up to where the rocks change colour) and more sky. It is a good idea to have something in the foreground to give depth the landscape which i think you have tried to achieve here.
Best wishes and keep em coming,
Neil

a beautiful cityscape. the sunrise gives the perfect light and the fog the perfect mood of an early morning. one thing missing is the name of the city.

Nicely chosen lines, I like your careful attention to the depth to make this one very complex and interesting.

The use of Sepia toning is also effective, makes this place look more like some European ruin from a couple of thousand years ago, until one looks at it more carefully it makes more sense with the title - but still! the effect seems to make it much more older than it really is.

Well done

Hello Kelvin,Thanks for your comment on my Evening Stroll,This is a very good natural image with good exposure, you have managed to get all the important elements into the picture with the right shutter speed to capture the softness in the water.I hope to take a new friend down to the falls In the Catlins soon,I really love the area
Do you live in this in Dunedin you have quite a few Otago images in your portfolio.
Regards Micky.
