This is superb you've really tapped into a new look. Thank you for sending the set up for this but could you tell what kind of bulb is in the light and what WB setting you use. I'm having a bad time with the WB and all my lights produce an orange hue. Thanks, Ellen

Well done. This has a new feel to it, a bit different from the others but very pleasing.

Oh I thought I recognised your work. It's been a while since I stopped in. Hello and Merry Christmas. I really am very fond of your interior shots so I'll put you on my list so I won't miss a one.

Hi Mark, this is wonderful photoart. I love the light on the archway. I'm curious though did you intend to have the ghost edge showing through? I'm off to look at more of your stuff.

Excellent shot. Thank goodness two cars didn't come at the same time it looks very narrow. Perfect post card scene Ade.

To continue from the other image I think the other crop is the better of the two but only because it gets rid of the ugly little washed out bit on the path. Now maybe if you met in the middle and cropped this that way it would be a bonny photo.

Maybe I don't know what others are looking at but I rather like it like this. I'll go see the one with the bog to get a better idea.

This is an exquisite image the lighting is superior. I have taken a look at quite a few of you photos and I must say it's been a pleasure. Your ballet shots are flawless and without equal.

Hi Roger. I got my comment back but it's a start. I followed the crumbs to get here. I suspect you won't get a notice for this.
Yes I still see the adverts. In one respect they aren't flashy and intrusive but it does add a lot more useless clutter to a field that is already constricted. Al was asking for someone that knows CSS (?) to have a go at widening the viewing field. It might have been said in haste. Do you know that code?

Hi Steve, I read your bio and your request for an honest opinion, well buckle up. lol Technically speaking this is a terrific shot. The lighting is right on, no weird shadows that kind of thing. The color of her makeup is fine but it is kind of heavy, drag queenish. One bit of advice I got along the way was "back up" use a zoom to help the skin look smoother.
Your work is interesting. I would say you need to figure out the audience you want to play to. Some of your work seems to be of the snapshot variety that won't appeal to too many folks. Your other work is grand and does show talent. Experimenting is refreshing and helps us to look at things differently but it might help to give us a hint at what you were going after.
I don't take many portraites because I can't get the kind of quality of lighting you have here. I wish I could.
I'm going to pop you in my associates folder. I shoot a D70 too but I am just starting out. I'm self taught so I'm sure you could give me advice along the way. Keep in mind this is all just my opinion.

Wonderful shots Ade I love the coloring. You have a definite knack for bringing out the most wonderful colors. The time of day you chose to shoot was a great choice. Very pleasing series.

Roger this is 10! It doesn't say what film number you used but I know it wasn't the 800. The color on this is superior in in every way. The detail is beyond my wildest imagination. I'm not sure how you managed to control the DOF so well and if you tried to explain I would not get it. Just know I greatly respect your talent and abilities. I eagerly await your next pano Roger san.
I can't help myself, WOW!

I don't remember seeing this one before it's great. I love the way you used this effect. It might be a stronger piece if you cropped away most of the green and just focused on the flower. Very sexy.

I hope you get this. I couldn't reply to you any other way. Thank you for the wonderful in depth comment I guess I'll have to pare that image down a little. Two heads are better then one.
I like this flower, on my screen it seems a bit bright around the edges. It's a hard call maybe you could go over it with a burn tool and darken it a little.

Oooo this is going to be exciting. I love to see these pano shots they are magic. Great shot. As far a the image goes it's typical New England coloring. Everything has that salt film all over it, makes things look like they've white washed. I can go either way as far as contrast goes.

It looks great to me. It seems when I tried this I had to get every light in the house before I found the right one. When you back light something it would stand to reason you would lose some of the detail on the front, right?? I think I ended up getting the look I wanted by actually lighting it from the front. I should take notes. I think I ended up with something like a Christmas light in a paper tube. Let me know what you come up with this is a beautiful flower.

Put it on the calender, I'm speechless. I know you have a whole raft of cameras but this one and the Minolta are my favorites as far as clarity go. I'm going to go back and see what you used on the first UL tonight.

Stunning gosh that red is beautiful. I wish you were here we have a whole flock of eagles basically in our front yard training there young to catch fish. With your "cannon lens" you could get these guys but they just look like any old big bird in my shots. But I'm not giving up. You have inspired me.
