The title is perfect for this shot. I like this quite a lot, it has just the right amount of details and mystery.

You've sure been quiet lately. Great choice of coloring it really shows how desolute this part of the country is.

This is superb you've really tapped into a new look. Thank you for sending the set up for this but could you tell what kind of bulb is in the light and what WB setting you use. I'm having a bad time with the WB and all my lights produce an orange hue. Thanks, Ellen

Hi Mark, this is wonderful photoart. I love the light on the archway. I'm curious though did you intend to have the ghost edge showing through? I'm off to look at more of your stuff.

To continue from the other image I think the other crop is the better of the two but only because it gets rid of the ugly little washed out bit on the path. Now maybe if you met in the middle and cropped this that way it would be a bonny photo.

This is an exquisite image the lighting is superior. I have taken a look at quite a few of you photos and I must say it's been a pleasure. Your ballet shots are flawless and without equal.

Hi Roger. I got my comment back but it's a start. I followed the crumbs to get here. I suspect you won't get a notice for this.
Yes I still see the adverts. In one respect they aren't flashy and intrusive but it does add a lot more useless clutter to a field that is already constricted. Al was asking for someone that knows CSS (?) to have a go at widening the viewing field. It might have been said in haste. Do you know that code?

Hi Steve, I read your bio and your request for an honest opinion, well buckle up. lol Technically speaking this is a terrific shot. The lighting is right on, no weird shadows that kind of thing. The color of her makeup is fine but it is kind of heavy, drag queenish. One bit of advice I got along the way was "back up" use a zoom to help the skin look smoother.
Your work is interesting. I would say you need to figure out the audience you want to play to. Some of your work seems to be of the snapshot variety that won't appeal to too many folks. Your other work is grand and does show talent. Experimenting is refreshing and helps us to look at things differently but it might help to give us a hint at what you were going after.
I don't take many portraites because I can't get the kind of quality of lighting you have here. I wish I could.
I'm going to pop you in my associates folder. I shoot a D70 too but I am just starting out. I'm self taught so I'm sure you could give me advice along the way. Keep in mind this is all just my opinion.
Ellen

Wonderful shots Ade I love the coloring. You have a definite knack for bringing out the most wonderful colors. The time of day you chose to shoot was a great choice. Very pleasing series.
