I don't think it's what I would call an artifact. It looks more like you swiped it with a dodge tool and it desaturated the red a little. I had a chance to look at my work on a LCD screen, I was brought to tears. On my screen (CRT) things look fine but on the other ALL the whites were blown out. This might be something only I can see because of my monitor and its settings.

This is beautiful, composition is right on. The DOF weather PS or not is perfect to help put the focus on the flower. In the red/pink in the lower third there seems to be a noticeable difference in the color change. I've had this happen myself it's as if PS remembers something you did but changed. I'm usually 50 steps ahead when I notice it. Ach!

These are wonderful shots in this series. I really like the fact that they are natural and not NG glossies. Good composition. Breathtaking.

Peter this is stunning. There's no noise or grain and the focus is as sharp as a tack. The Minolta seems to be the most superior camera in you collection. It's so pretty and well composed, well done.

Thank you Marky this is a canny picture. I love the dark moody landscape. I'll have to see this when I come over. Fingers crossed. I'm telling you you need to take up a collection.
Hugs your marra.

This is crazy 555 views and no one could stop long enough to say that this is a beautiful scene.
I planted 300 bulbs this fall I can't wait for them to come up. This is a bit of a preview thank you.

23 x 23? How big are the squares? That is gorgeous Jan. Did you try different lighting to get the colors to come out differently?

Wow that is a nice looking truck. Too bad that pesky flower got in the way. These are really interesting when you get in close and just shoot the back and the cap. Beautiful, do you need me to send you some cold weather?

This is a tremendous shot. I'm not sure what the lighting situation was but it is very good. Reds are the hardest thing for me and I have tried with 4 different cameras. This is spot on. The clarity is text book perfect.
I was reading your thread from the forum, if you would like to know more of the shot info then is given I think most people would be glad to look it up for you. As a general rule most don't include it because we know that photography is for the most part random and the elements change constantly. Welcome to usefilm I hope you enjoy being here as much as I have.
