Hi again, Chris,

I hope you had a nice X-Mas time?

Thanks for drawing my attention to Neat Image which seems to be a quite useful program - right now I'm trying to find my way through the very detailed manual... :-)

Hi everybody,

Thanks for all your compliments, they're all very appreciated!

To Jose Luis & Hugo: Actually it is not yet printed, it's "only" scanned from the original negative.

To Licia: Which project would you have prefered? Aren't stairs and escalators just Beneath Your Feet"? :-)

To Chris: Thanks for attaching a suggestion with less grain, I like it very much!
Actually taking a photo from that perspective (standing in the middle of the stairs) makes it almost impossible to use a tripod so my only chance was to use a high-speed film like the TMZ 3200 because it's so extremely dark down there... Removing the grain from this file for me is no opportunity because too much detail and sharpness gets lost - but which software did you use?

Great composition, phantastic colours - and the story behind it... Amazing! :-)

I think the intensity of the colours is caused by the use of a polarizer, isn't it? I don't think they're oversaturated...

Amazing, though I would have arranged the diagonals just the other way round (rising instead of falling) to achieve or more positive impression on the viewer. And a little more sharpness in the corners would have been good.
Just my humble opinion... :-)

Is it a photo or just a Photoshop creation?
